LSU has said they will abide by the ruling.

Let’s say the ruling tomorrow is 3, 4, 6 or 7 and LSU never ends up rostering Wright and Harris.

What is the talking point on this board then?

quote:

1. Full preliminary injunction
NCAA must give the named plaintiffs a fifth season and SEC/Sankey cannot penalize them or schools for their prior NFL status.

2. Narrow/conditional preliminary injunction
Same basic result, but limited to the 33 named plaintiffs, 2026-27 season, perhaps requiring termination of pro contracts/repayment of NFL compensation

3. NCAA injunction granted, SEC injunction denied
NCAA must recognize fifth-year eligibility, but the SEC retains its independent right as a voluntary association to prohibit former pros

4. Partial distinction among players
Judge protects players who merely declared/attended camps, but allows restrictions on players who actually signed NFL contracts or appeared on NFL rosters

5. Court takes matter under advisement
No final PI ruling tomorrow; Jorden temporarily extends/preserves the TRO while preparing written reasons

6. Preliminary injunction denied
Plaintiffs have not made the required showing; TRO dissolves

7. Injunction denied as to both NCAA and SEC on broader legal grounds
Court accepts NCAA/SEC arguments that eligibility rules and voluntary-association rules are lawful/enforceable

What’s the SECs stance on the NCAA declaring Chambliss ineligible?

That’s my point.

LSU has said very directly that it’ll abide by the court order.

First reply to this thread is no they won’t.
