12-6, 3-3

No quality wins outside conference. Texas Tech at home.

Currently not on bubble. Think SC could possibly make another run

Pretty much like all the big college sports, as soon as one season ends the projections start for the next season. I'm not sure why people find that so surprising.

For a second I thought you meant going 12-6 in conference

RPI has gone way up since last week with these last two wins

luckily we have some top RPI teams ahead of us in the coming weeks which could help tremendously. and no horrible teams that could hurt it

we don't have terrible RPI losses so if we can get 3 or so more wins against some of these ranked teams we give ourselves a chance. but it's an uphill battle right now

It's still early. A lot of basketball yet to be played. One game at a time but these next few games are going to tell us a lot.

The conference RPI is strong enough this year that if we can finish above .500 in conference and win a couple in the tourney we'll have a shot.

But, again, it's just way too early to tell when it comes to basketball.

11-5 in the SEC would put as at 20-8 on the season

Not sure If that would put us there

and last year 22-10 (12-6) got us a 7 seed.

I don't think South Carolina has the guard play to win enough to get in. You will probably need at least 21 wins.

Why are y'all only playing 16 conference games this year? Some kind of weird sanctions?

Well you got me.
As you can see I'm new to basketball/ being a fan.
Fan since last year since we went to the tourney.

11-7 will put us at 20-10*

Don't think that gets us in.

Then again, is the SEC even that good?

11-7 would absolutely get you in this year. 9-9 with the right wins will get a team in from the SEC this year.

We still got a looong ways to go just to make the NIT, which I'm hoping for. If we can get past this current run we're in with UK, UT, UF, and Texas Tech. Beating UK to start was a good start, but still a lot of BB to play...
