That's not a trophy.

The Keg is but with regard to the Victory Cigars I did say 'of sorts.' It offers the same kind of incentive/reward for players to enjoy in that to the victor goes the spoils.

None of our rivalries need trophies.

Well our rivalry with you certainly doesn't need one despite needing a bit of a boost (we got spoiled with Fulmer vs. Spurrier, imo) but I suspect y'all would love something like the Keg which lists each win right on it and is easy to read even on TV - er was. You can't tell me UF fans wouldn't be positively thrilled with a visible list that shows your streak over us or the rage it would cause us.

Not a fan. SC and TX share a ton of things. Hell, the state that is most like Texas I would say is South Carolina. I'm a fan of them and the program.

Neither fan base looks at the other and gets angry. There is absolutely zero bad blood.

Nix the trophy and don't even call it a rivalry until some young buck Ag makes the moves on SCRooster's assumed hot daughter or something of the nature. Then we can at least have some bad blood and maybe the seeds of a rivalry will have been planted.

Yes, we lost 9 out of 12 to our number one rival and put our tail between our legs and ran away to another conference......wait that's Texas A&M. Cowards.

Just looked if up and LSU owns A&M arse in the series history. A&M has not beaten LSU in 20 years. Not bad for LSU's fourth best rivalry. But nobody cares.

William Travis was born in Saluda County, South Carolina. He moved to Alabama during some point in his childhood.

This trophy is awesome. Great way to link the history of the two states together.

Not a rivalry and I don't want to play USCe every year. Zero fan base interactions. This is just silly.

LEarned somethign new today.

Travis moved from South Carolina to Alabama at the age of 9. grew up in ALabama. practiced law in ALabama. Got married and had a child in Alabama.

I'd say he is more Alabamaian than a South Carolinian. Some could argue hes more ALabamaian than Texan. But his impact on Texas history is not to be ignored.

Rivalry [FORCED]unforced.

the only way SC can win trophies is to create them?

I am looking forward to playing USC, but our fans interact too little in real life to create a "rivalry."

The biggest "rivalry" will be oil money ags vs those legendary SC golf courses on game weekends.

I wouldn't call it silly.

I thought that y'all would be happy to finally be away from Missouri.

So they're "cowards" for going to a superior football conference?
And I believe that y'all still owe them the money for quitting last time.
