Living in the Houston area the last 30 years, I have a half dozen aggie friends I would do anything for. All good guys with a lot in common and upbringing with people I grew up around in BR area.
And its because of that its a little more personal when I wish to hell they would lose every damn game every damn season.

Seriously though, whose fault was it for him not looking? It is not the defensive players job to ensure the WR was paying attention. Well, not in that era anyway.
Football is a violent game in which intimidation plays a major role (or it used to be). WR's should not be given a free pass to go over the middle and NOT pay the consequences. It was part of the fabric game for decades. I love college football. I loved it a lot more when plays like that were encouraged, not penalized with an ejection treated like criminal assault.
