It says
quote:
For applicants who are not residents of Louisiana, ACT scores are used for admission decisions and placement
It doesn’t even list a score that has to be attained, just that out of state applicants have to take it.
So you had to take the ACT and graduate from high school if you were instate.
You could score a 1 on the ACT and graduate from a Louisiana High School and gain admission. I don’t think that proved what you think it did

And I was referring to a period in the mid-late 1980’s

It’s true.

it also says for Louisiana residents the ACT is required to submit with applications. Also, it was not automatic admission. Idk how you correlate the two together. They'd still have to review your transcript and ACT score to see if you would be admit.
Texas auto admits you if you graduated high school in the top 6% but it doesn't not guarantee you admission into your program of choice.
Because if this is your argument, Alabama had the same requirements.

You could've said so many mean things about LSU or Louisiana, and you chose to say something that was not factual at all.

Louisiana is bad country. You stray from I-10, you might not get back home.

Sorry not sorry. I didn't even go to LSU, I went to Texas.

My team logo has not changed ever until they got rid of forum signatures. I'm from the New Orleans area and moved to Austin for school.

Louisiana Residents
Louisiana residents who are graduates of state-approved high schools and who have not attended a college or university will be considered for freshman admission when they have submitted applications. Students who have not attended another college or university and who are graduates of unapproved high schools may be considered for admission on the basis of their performance on the ACT. Applicants who have not graduated from high school must be at least 21 years of age and must present satisfactory evidence of education, train-ing, and experience. Applicants should request high schools to send transcripts of their complete scholastic records to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible after completion of their high school course of study. General Education Development (GED), graduates must submit copies of their high school diplomas, official transcripts, or Louisiana Certificate DES09.

Think you are missing the part where it says all freshman applicants must submit an ACT score.

Think you overlooked this part as well.

1965-1967 was the last time ACT scores were not a requirement for all freshman applicants at LSU.
LSU and Alabama literally had the same requirements in the 70s for freshman applicants of residents of their respective states according to the only catalog I found from Alabama.
You said all you needed was a Louisiana hs diploma to get admitted into LSU, now you are using stuff for non residents of Louisiana as a talking point.

I’m using the handbook from 1986-87.
It’s not a talking point lol: it’s straight out of the handbook.
Havoc already told you this earlier in the thread. I’m not sure why you are so invested in trying to prove me wrong
What score did you have to make on the ACT for admittance?
And I’m correct.
