An SEC team going to Memphis is embarrassing. Your AD was told to jump and how high lol.

First, this is the greatest thread in history. God bless you sir.
Second, if Cook is healthy we have a top 5 SEC QB. We have a top 5 receiving core. A top 5 SEC play maker in Burden and a top 5 defense.
That said, we have a bottom 5 SEC coach. So the chances of running the table are zero. Yes we beat KState with our kicker who has a 65 yard range…but we also had a delay of game to get the kickoff.
Maybe Drink grows up in security and becomes more aggressive but till then I’ll take 9 wins this year and a good night.

This Memphis game has trap game written all over it.
Playing in the dome is not equal to playing at Faurot. It's hard to get loud and it's also just a bad gameday environment.

Losing to Memphis would be the most Mizzou thing ever. Also Cook is a little banged up but a lot of Mizzou fans have been calling to see the backup Horn for a long time. This topic is crazy because Georgia will stomp us in Athens.

Lol at being afraid of Memphis.
They will get their teeth kicked in Saturday. They play no defense.
What Missouri did, was get a chump, m Memphis to give up a home game for cash grab.
Missouri gets all their home games plus a game in st.louis and u only paid 1 mil for it. Missouri will get more than that from. Dome people

I get the feeling. missouri was so scared of us they fled the conference.

Hell, in that scenario.... I'd leave mizzou out and i wouldn't care if they won the SEC Championship or not.

Say Mizzou goes undefeated.
Say I suddenly discover two more inches on my wedding tackle. One is about as likely as the other.

True. And winning on the line of scrimmage is how I ended up with two kids, a wife, and mortgage.
I never said I won pretty.

But so does Ohio St, USC (or heaven forbid Colorado), Texas, and Florida St. Who gets left out?
Interesting fantasy.

Taking this question seriously, as of right now Mizzou would be 5th based on the SECs poor out of conference showing thus far. Colorado/USC would have beaten many ranked teams including Oregon, Washington, etc. The argument gets even easier if LSU were to win the west and lose to Mizzou in the SEC championship game when Florida state already demolished LSU. Ohio State gets in regardless of their strength of schedule based on ratings alone, same for Notre Dame if they beat OSU. Texas went on the road and beat Alabama pretty easily. The committee loves those types of OOC games. If all five of these teams won out it would look like this: 1. Ohio State (wins over ND & Michigan, Penn State) 2. USC (wins over Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah) 3. Florida State (wins over LSU, Miami, UNC?) 4. Texas (wins over Alabama, Oklahoma) 5. Mizzou (wins over Georgia, west champion) The only slight argument would be vs Texas, and the committee are a bunch of hapless pussies who would put an undefeated Texas in because of ratings alone. If Mizzou were to go undefeated, the SEC would have bigger problems.
That’s a lot of typing for a down vote.

I think you post more about Missouri than anyone else on this board

I don’t care how down the SEC is, a undefeated SEC champ isn’t getting left out.

They also play LSU in a couple weeks

No offense to Mizzou fans but We would stand a better chance of the Starship Enterprise showing up and beaming up one person on this board right now than the Mizzou football team going undefeated and having a shot at the playoffs.

Missouri was one win away from a national championship game.
