Slow down. Type complete sentences. Maybe do a little proofing before you hit submit. Gather yourself.
I'm not going to use "calm" and "tits" together quite yet. But that's where we are heading.
There is NOTHING either you or I can do about this current shite-show. And a shite-show it is. All we can do is observe it. And to observe it renders some pretty obvious answers.
Mark Pope is not a good coach. But he is a guy that uses that "relentless positivity" to try to dig in on a job. Here's the thing - you want to defend him because you believe he loves Kentucky Sports as much as you do.
He's going to love his next job just as much. Don't waste your time loving him. Or do.

Imagine what Kentucky could do with this officiating succ n fucc if they were actually worth a frick.

You literally name drop me in half of your posts because you’re obsessed and are trying the “calm down” BS because you can’t handle someone who counters you.
You’re a child at best.

Pope isn't going to be given more than next season to get this fixed. His leash was already short thanks to Calipari's malfeasance. This fanbase is already restless.
Pope is a good guy to be sure. I'd love for him to get it fixed and prove us all wrong. But it's clear that isn't going to happen at this juncture.

He likely going to get another season but Barnhart needs to allow him to hire a GM for roster and NIL management.
He just allowed Stein to do so for football. Bring in Nazr or someone of that experience.

Do I really need to show the list of posts so that I can make you count them to see that, no, I don't mention you in half my posts ?
Are you this high strung in real life ?
Now - if you'd like to argue about the product on the floor ? Sure. My opening point is pretty solid. Mark Pope is not the right guy for this job. I think his first year - and that run to the Sweet Sixteen - was as good as it will get.
I think Mark Pope is too smart by half.

Well I see the UK fans are extra melty.

He clearly needs one.

You’ve literally done it this whole thread.
Again, child at best. And no, I’m not responding to you after this because you’re an attention whore.

Then the issue needs to be forced. He needs it.
ETA: This is where we miss Mike Pratt. He had Barnhart’s ear and was able to push for these kind of things (like when we initially hired Cal and encouraging the hiring to be done by committee).

A GM wouldn’t help Colin Chandler guard anyone.

I’ve seen 3 National Championships in my lifetime and a couple Runner-Ups. Under 3 different coaches.
If he doesn’t work out we’ll move on. It happens even to the best of programs.

Here's the thing ... I know every fan-base loves their team. But when it comes to Kentucky Basketball ? It really brings out something in some people. Its been a topic discussed for decades. Why do Kentucky Basketball fans care so much ?
It used to be because regional kids played on the team. But that hasn't been true for decades. Is it because Kentucky isn't relevant on the National Stage at anything else ? Maybe.
Part of this recent thing is Mark Pope. He sold some of this fan-base on his "I Love Kentucky" gimmick. Frankly - I don't trust him. I think he's a fraud. The Music Man in Lexington.

I ain’t got time to read all that.

Most passionate fans in sports

National titles in other sports more recently than basketball

I wouldn't call it a gimmick, but this season, with a roster he assembled is not very good. He needs a GM.

Way Back Back in the day - we didn't do all the line breaks. We'd put all those sentences in one big chuck. The idea was that from the indent on the first part, until the period at the end, would be a train of thought.
We'd call it a paragraph. We used to chain those together on something called paper, and paste them between two thicker pieces of paper. Or sometimes leather if the paragraphs on the paper were really, really important.
We'd call those "books".

I’m not real happy with this team. He got guys that aren’t shooters. This is just his second season and last year was a good start. He needs to be given a chance.
But you fire a guy after two years and good luck getting your next coach.

I agree.
This UGA/Auburn game is a good one. Georgia really needs a quality win.
