I liked Penny as a kid when he played for the Magic, but man has he been greasy as the day is long as HC at Memphis. No respect for him now. Glad to see State get the win.

We are not Rick Ray bad. Thankfully those days are behind us. We have struggled but this team is still light years better than any of those teams.

How many SEC wins do you think we get? Realistically. Gotta be 7 or less.

Unless some bigs step up, we won't win a lot of SEC games, but the 3 guards are legit, and they will keep us in a lot of games Right now I would say giving up 2nd chance points is our biggest issue You work hard to get a stop and then give them another chance because of lazy rebounding.

Honestly I have no idea. The SEC is not nearly the juggernaut it was last year. But we have been all over the place with lineups and how we have played. The SMU and SFO games are head scratchers for sure.
I guess we can take one game at a time and see how it goes.
I would like to see us blow out Alabama State. I mean like a 25-30 point win.
I just think we need a game like that heading into conference play.
Be able to clear the bench type of game.
I still see potential to be better than below average or even average. But at some point you are what your record says.
