Yep he can get to the basket really well. I’m not super impressed with either or our guards handle though. They don’t push the break nearly enough and we have bigs that get out and run really well, especially Haugh.

The 2nd half of this game is I think the 1st time all year Golden has specifically told the team to not shoot 3s unless wide open.

Hopefully this continues going forward. We are not last year's team we can't just get hot and start jacking 3s. We don't have great shooting. Only take them if wide open due to ball movement.

GW just starts hitting 3's, way too late. Florida is a pretty good 1/2 of a team, they have work to be done backcourt. If they get that figured out they'll be a hard as Hell to beat.

Yes if Lee and Fland can just be average.. consistently we can be really good. It just hasn't happened. Lee has had 2 solid games in a row now so that's a start.

I was bummed to lose Boogie. He was being talked up as a lotto pick before his injury. Our new PGs are even better imo so I wouldn't trade back. Best of luck to him. I'm sure he picks it up.

Yeah, no way in Hell would I trade Acuff. I wouldn't trade Thomas either but he has a lot of room for improvement.

Clearly a very talented player but I wasn’t upset that he left. Replacing him with Acuff has been a big improvement.

Chattanooga playing Auburn pretty well. Bit of a surprise.

And just as I was typing Auburn goes up by 11.

Aubie isn’t that good.

They are going to struggle when conference play opens.

Auburn wins by 14 against Chattanooga. It was actually a pretty decent game, Chattanooga can shoot.

Auburn wins 92-78. Sloppy game and poor defensive play, but I’ll take it. One more win over Queens in a few weeks and Auburn will have navigated our schedule to avoid any Quad 4 losses… with a new coach and almost an entirely new team, that’s all we needed to do to put us in good position heading into SEC play. Wins over St John’s and NC State will be big for the resume.

Almost zero difference in Auburn’s and Arkansas’ resumes at this point, but sure.

I mean sure, except the Hogs have wins against the current #11 team and #16 team, while Auburn doesn't have a top 25 win.

ETA: I take that back, Auburn beat St. John's.

Using KenPom:

Auburn’s losses are against #1, #6, and #9. Wins over #16, #28, and #81 all by double digits.

Arkansas lost to #4 and #14. Wins over #10 and #25.

Like I said, almost zero difference. Only difference is Auburn has played an extra game against a top team.

What's their current ranking? It's #9 and #16.

St, John's is currently #22.

Auburn also lost badly to Michigan and Arizona.

Arkansas lost to Duke and Michigan State by a combined 12 points.
