We’ve left 15 on base and scored 2. Their pitchers bent but didn’t break. Thats what good teams do. All pitchers give up hits and walks. Its how you manage it that matters.

Why can’t infielders hit the first baseman on a dime anymore? Even on the simplest ground-outs, we need a 7ft first baseman with elastic hammies in order to get a freaking out. And he probably should wear a catcher’s mask for all the damn one-hops. I’m 60 and I can fire from short to first on a dime. I think it’s all about recruiting hitters nowadays.
