Was the MSU guy that scored on the sac fly pretty fast? I thought that pop up was shallow enough to make a play at the plate.
...either that or our CFer has a fricking noodle arm.
He might have been playing pretty far back and it made it seem a lot shorter of a pop-up.

I suppose there are just programs that expect class out of their athletes and then there are Tennessee and LSU. I had thought more of lsu but if that’s what you like then have at it.

What a crazy play. USC center fielder makes a miraculous catch robbing Vandy player off a grand slam. Tips ball to himself but catches before it hits ground. Runner on third scores. Vandy leads 5-4.
But wait!
After 10 minutes, umps rule no catch, ball must have hit the wall. Confused Vandy runners doubled off second and third. Inning over. Remains tied at 4.

Im confused? If they decided it wasn’t a catch and was a hit why would the run from 3rd not count? It would score with or without the necessity of tagging right?
