Left bases loaded 2 out of the last 3 innings? Was on the phone for a minute, but I believe that’s correct. Lot’s of missed opportunities. State and Ole Miss are both struggling with that.

And that's just as dumb. Rotate the game around the state if you're going to have a permanent neutral site game. Or play 4 games per year like we used to with 2 home and 2 away. If you stick with a 3-game series, North Augusta, Fort Mill, Charleston and Myrtle Beach all have stadiums that could accommodate these games. I'd love to see us play them in my part of the state.

Pelicans would do it right. it would be fun. I don't think Carolina's been back to 21st Ave since Christian Walker sent the Gamecocks to Omaha. tons of good Pee Dee/Stand Gamecock fans. 17N would see a good bit of action from Georgetown & Charleston Gamecocks, too.
Greenville does it very well closing off the streets with the watering holes close by. the coaches also favor the Saturday game in Greenville because it's on the way between Columbia & Central.
Charleston didn't even bid last contract talks. we screwed it up royally at The Joe in our lone chance. first pitch was at 6pm on a friday. 5 o'clock traffic & 5K drunks headed to Brittlebank was the perfect Lowcountry traffic shitstorm. ol Joe's office got a lot of phone calls on Monday.
