I'm hearing the same. But then again, Texas thinks they are still getting Urban Meyer so who knows

In what capacity? I have a hard time believing he would leave for another OC job and they do not have a HC opening unless I am behind on the news.

You're misinformed. Saban is going to Texas and will be hiring Urban Meyer as his offensive coordinator. Rumor has it Gene Chizik will leave his position at the SEC Network and come be his defensive coordinator.

Why would Urban buy a house in Auburn if he was going to Texas? Urban is AU's next OC.

News in Texas is that what A&M and OU have done in the past few weeks has solidified the boosters' stance that SOMETHING has to be done. Supposedly, Urban Meyer doesn't want to ruin tOSU's season, so they have to wait until after the Bowl Games to make a change

Who honestly knows. The boosters are running the show down there, and the AD just does what they say

It would be a bad decision. So since we are talking about Texass that's probably what they'll do.

Yep, with Urban as offensive coordinator, Kirby as defensive coordinator, and Dabo as recruiting coordinator. All their wives are currently house shopping in Austin.

They're Texas where what starts there changes the world or some such bullshite.

This guy has both fresh and historical conduits. Sark may not take it, but the word is that he is talking to them.

I do not know if Texas can fix what is broken at this point. I mean, they have a national profile and have basically ran the state of Texas forever but cannot seem to win.

It will take a massive culture change at Texas to win anything. A coach that can control the meddlesome boosters, and more importantly the Austin media.

Will you give me a link to that “word”?
