I’m not saying we are going to win out in football during the SEC portion of our 2025 season… in fact I think we will likely lose to one or more of y’all this year…

I’m just saying we’re proud to be here… our Austin stadium games have been sold out for a long time…

And Sankey and the networks seem to like the big marquee football games that involve Texas…

And don’t teams actually love to play us? They get to wear their Horns hate shirts, and feel naughty and rebellious by throwing the Horns down sign for the TV cameras and stuff…

Every good wrestling match needs a villian… such drama makes for good TV…

It would be like if a Democrat got tough on criminals and enforcing the border laws. It could be true, but nobody would believe it was them doing it. So Texas is always gonna be the outsider to the SEC

You see, none of the legacy SEC fanbases see Texas or Oklahoma as "SEC", at least not yet. Yall are still Big 12.

In fact, A&M and Missouri still feel like outsiders after 13 years. You Texas fans have a long way to go.

You have to admit, isn't OU is starting out by pulling their weight this year? I'm definitely not taking them for granted... and I know our team won't either...

Would all of y'all be happy in the future if Texas and / or Oklahoma started dominating the conference?

I doubt it! Y'all opposing teams are never going to be happy no matter what we do... goalposts are always moving...

So how do you describe our games vs. aggy? Not a real opponent??

We were your best regular-season win. How does that make you feel?

You know, Texas fought for the South during the Civil War (not that I am saying that the main purpose of the war was good)...

How much longer, exactly, will it take for Texas to "belong" to the SEC? And exactly who decides? Those fatarse fans in Alabama? In Louisiana and Georgia? Will winning games against y'all help? Bringing millions of eyeballs in to televised SEC football games?

I'm looking for an exact answer... not this constant moving goalpost bullshite, ha...

Beating aggy made me feel wonderful, as it always does! I was smiling for at least a week!

Wow.

I guess beating A&M was the highlight of your season, huh?

1) How is the schedule Texas fault? No one can 100% accurately predict which teams are going to be the best from start to finish every year in the SEC.

2) assuming that IF Texas played more SEC Ranked teams they would somehow lose is unknowable, just like the other way around would be true.

3) Plenty of SEC teams trip up against bottom half SEC teams, Texas didnt do that last year while many others did.

The point is Texas last year would have still possibly been in the SEC championship had they lost another game (say they lose to Ole miss like UGA did or Bama)

I can’t blame you at all for liking being in the SEC for the same reasons that we all do

Huge games, almost every week that have real implications, and that the fans are pumped up for.

I am really looking forward to years to come when Texas actually plays a grueling SEC schedule.

See Florida for what that looks like. Florida is very very unfortunate. Texas would be lucky to win more than 4 SEC games with their schedule.

I actually agree that we are going to need to have our shite together next year...

I do like that Sark and our coaches seem to be recruiting well, keeping up a good team culture, and developing our guys... most of our guys are staying, and not leaving (except for NFL opportunities)... This will be better for our future offensive and defensive lines, because it is hard to throw a ton of portal players together and create a cohesive team.

Anyway, I feel like we will compete in the future so I am also looking forward to next year...

My regular season highlights were beating OU and aggy, plus arkie, then every NCAA tournament game we won... losing to Georgia twice sucked, ha...

Being honest though, I am not overconfident in beating either OU or aggy this year. Right now, I think that we could lose to either of you this year...

And I know that OU, aggy, Texas, and arkie fans have loved to beat each other for over 100 years...

On this we agree... and I am not 'lyin about Texas fans being happy to be in the SEC... you know how Texas people like to brag about being the biggest and best, ha... So Texas fans are absolutely going to communicate that we are in the best conference now...

According to Coach Sark, 11 of the 16 teams in the SEC are currently ranked.

Impressive.

The only unranked teams?

Florida
Kentucky
Miss State
Vanderbilt
Arkansas

Guess what? Texas plays ALL OF THEM.

Well, what can I say? Those teams need to step up - we can't do it for them...

And I would not be surprised if Mississippi State, Vandy, and Arkie are ranked by the end of the season...

I'm not overconfident in beating all of those teams this year, either... we could lose to any of them...

Hell, most of you only begrudgingly acknowledge USCe and Arky as SEC.

Is this what keeps you awake at night? Do you realize how pussified that sounds? Do you want the SEC to throw a dildo parade for you? Would that make you feel like you belong.
