Sankey allowed Texas to come into our conference knowing they’d take over.

Texas had the easiest conference schedule in the history of the SEC...will be similar next year...but hoping things are balanced in 2026.

Is a 32 ranked SoS really the lowest SoS ever for an SEC team?

Sankey sucks because is part of the group trying to create super conferences so college football ends up like a NFL farm league among a few schools.

Your troll is stupid.

Not playing any ranked teams is pretty uncommon even when the East was much further down than the West.

At least since the mid 2000's.

We have the most wins against bowl eligible teams in CFB. We won all the games we played besides 1. Most years, teams with even worst SoS rankings did not do nearly that good.

I said conference schedule...you played six of the bottom 8 teams in the conference...lost badly to the only strong team you faced...at home.

Texas got lucky with the schedule. Everyone knew that when it came out. And the prevailing sentiment was that Texas would frick it up anyway. People only care now because we didn't.

Alabama's 2017 schedule was easier than ours.

Because you played a bunch of mid teams. You're going to have a harder SoS than many Big10 teams, especially Big12 teams etc because you play in the SEC. The mid and bottom are generally tougher than the other conferences. Even more so now.

That's a given. You might think your SoS is great compared to college football, but you have the weakest schedule of all SEC teams this year and it's quite remarkable.

Are we supposed to pretend like you played Oklahoma's schedule and dominated?

Are we supposed to pretend like Oklahoma and Vandy didn't dominate Bama?

We kicked your arse before we were in the SEC ! In fact we kicked it so many times we were thinking of dropping your arse from our scheduling

False. There were 3 other SEC West teams ranked in the final AP top25 that year. Auburn, Miss St and LSU.

No, you’re just supposed to play the games in front of you. If SEC is really tougher and it “just means more” then winning the conference should be a big deal any year. Or maybe that’s all BS

But schedules are made 3-4 years in advance, and only an idiot would look at Texas’s schedule of Michigan, Oklahoma (rival), Florida, Georgia, Arkansas (rival on road), and A&M (rival on road) three years ago and say it was weak. Not our problem that 3 years later half of them suck.
