Why is this such a public issue fronted by Arkansas fans?

Sure, he’s lost weight, but he’s still easily the fattest coach in the SEC.

Good for him, hope he keeps the weight off and stays healthy. He was looking rough last season.

I think Josh Huepel would be the fattest now.

He's got a lot of money to spend and he didn't think he could do that from a pine box. Good for Pittman.

Probably. Definitely needs to follow Coach Pittman’s weight loss program.

Good for him. Not a fan of Arkansas at all, but I am a fan of Pittman. I loved what he did in his limited amount of time at Tennessee.

Pittman doesn’t do a ton.

Once he got the HC job he knew he needed to lose weight. He didn’t feel it was right be be a fat out of shape coach making these young men bust their @$$ all off season to be in shape.

He walks several miles a day (usually with Odom) around campus which is very hilly and simply watches what he eats now.

Little exercise and watching what you eat goes a long way

I can attest that simply walking around the campus at Arkansas will keep you in shape. I gained 50 pounds in a year when I moved to the Arkansas Delta. I've since managed to shed about 25 of those pounds but walking around Fayetteville will take the pounds off you.

He may have developed a hormonal malfunction that led to improper body proportions. That is most often caused by sudden weight loss in men and women. I experienced a similar problem when I was 19 years old. I decided to lose weight and started exercising. Because I wasn't very knowledgeable about it, I was doing it all wrong. That led to the same problem that Sam Pittman had. The RAD 140 supplement, which was recommended to me by a friend who also works out, helped me get my body back on track. Perhaps Sam should start using supplements in his diet.

Good for Coach Pittman!
Seriously, I've never understood why some HC's choose to be fat slobs. They have unlimited access to the best nutritionists, dietitians, kitchen staff and top of the line personal trainers & equipment. Add a little self motivation and there's no reason to be over weight and out of shape.
