FTR, I think Pittman is the most underrated hire of all the hires. But, I think Arkansas fans need to be patient.

Never seen a coach cry at his first press conference

I'll probably do the same one day

Not surprising that he’s crying. He got a $3mil/yr job when no one had ever heard of him.

It’s interesting to me that a return to the bielema regime is what hog fans wanted.

USC fans loved the Kiffin hire, as it was a sign of returning to the Pete Carroll era. That’s how hog fans feel about Pittman. A return to....Bert?

Pittman hated Bert. He isn’t going to be the Bert Era 2.0. He’ll be far from it.

Good luck with Pittman; never actually been a head coach before and he's long in the tooth. Perfect hire for a program that wants to be even worse off than they already are.

On the fifth coach in twelve years I wonder how a fan base continues to get up for these things. I think I’d be a wait and see guy by now.

I love how people think this is some sort of insult against him when it says more about the person saying it.

No one wants or sees this as a "return to Bert." He worked for Bert for a couple of years, he's not going to get the whole band back together.

Yeah, it says they have a life. The average college football fan has no clue who the OL coach of UGA is/was.

I believe he was the top paid O-line coach in the country at $900k.
