It would be difficult to choose among the two. If Kirby beats Alabama in the SECCG, you won't have to.

In 5 years Pittman may be the Saban of the West. Very well could go 9-4 in his second year bringing a program out of the ashes. Players want to play for him and coaches want him as a boss. Not a bad combination.

Ole Miss fans say Kiffin took Ole Miss over Arkansas because of the roster advantage.
Add to that the #1 toughest schedule.
4-4 in rivalry games.
Tied Kiffin at his place but went for the win like a Boss.
Beat Kiffin's arse in Fayetteville last year and would have this year , too.

Ole Miss hasnt ever played a schedule that hard.
Pittman is Coach of the Year. And he's a more likeable guy than Kiffin (who isnt even going to stay at Ole Piss anyway).
Add to that the #1 toughest schedule.

Probably right. Win either OM or Auburn and Pitt runs away with it.
I'll take Pitt and the future over COTY, but he's definitely earned a spot in the discussion.

Damn right he's not. Luke wasn't great, but Morris was a Franchione level screw job.
Morris's failures should have set Arkansas back 10 years. Pittman stepped in and had the Hogs competing toe-to-toe with top 5 teams in 2 years. That's an all-time turnaround job. Pittman is COTY. 100%. Coach of the decade of there is such a thing. I don't care who the idiots actually give it to.

Kirby Smart will get it. Honestly it should be between Kiffin and Pittman though. Both basically were the same only difference is Arkansas was given Georgia and Ole Miss Tennessee. We lost by one point at their place because we chose to go for two instead of the tie and who knows how the game ends in overtime. Biggest reason for Pittman is first he was an "online coach" with no head coach experience unlike Kiffin. Second he inherited Arkansas who was just violated by Morris. Way bigger rebuild. Just my two cents. Wonder seasons for us both though.
