Think about what you’re saying here. So you think Lane wanted his starting QB to miss a practice the week before a huge game? How is that ever a positive? So clearly he must have been having back spasms. Then Lane decided to just go ahead and list him as doubtful since he, in fact, missed practice. How this is some brilliant strategy when both Clark and Longstreet are both dual threat QB’s, I don’t know. It’s not like it would change Ole Miss’s defensive game plan even if Clark or Longstreet would be starting.
