Why not? He's a much more athletic Taysom Hill.
They've been paying that guy for almost a decade now.

Interesting take. Can Milroe catch and block, too?

As an Alabama and Falcons fan, I would love nothing more than to leave Milroe to the Saints as a lasting legacy.

I bet he could block. Don't know if he can catch.
BUT, he's no worse a passer than Hill, and he's a better runner overall (My opinion, obviously, but he has a definite speed advantage). I think it could work. Put him on the roster at QB, play him at TE, RB, wildcat QB, and he can be the emergency backup.

Saints need an oline, not a QB.

Man I always find the Bama hate for Milroe so weird.
He was benched last year after the Texas game and came back and put up strong enough numbers to get Heisman votes.
He has shown in several games to be incredibly talented.
It seems like his issues is more to do with Bama's inability to develop him as a passer similar to how LSU helped JD5 progress (while Jayden had always been very talented, everyone can see the huge leap he made in 2023 from 2022).
I think it would really depend on who the OC is of the Saints if Milroe can be successful in New Orleans.

F**k my Saints fandom if that happens.

quote:he can't read a defense or even process a play and adjust when it's happening in front of him. He is fast and had a big arm, and he has zero sense of feel of the game, and 3 different OCs were unable to get it through his skull. He's going to do whatever he predetermined in a play, no matter what. And you can forget about the ball coming out quick, it's just not going to happen even if that's the play design
He has shown in several games to be incredibly talented.
