reckon yall will go to more of a prostyle offense now?

Not sure. Safe to say, in my mind at least, that whoever he hires won't be running a primary HUNH offense.

Heard several people mention this morning that Gus might not have been to happy with CGC for wanting him to slow it down a bit. Just sounds like philosophical differences in the approach to the game.

Are any other assistant coaches expected to be processed by Chiz and Dye?

And I'll go back to ignoring you now. Congrats on the one non-flaming post though. Baby steps.

He can come to SLU, where he wouldn't have to sit out.

Probably, Gus' real HUNH involves having the ball snapped within 5 seconds of it being placed and ready to play. It wasn't so much of the hurry to the line, then look at the billboards on the sideline, then line up, then look again, etc.

On "The Cube-dick & The Kid" radio show hosted by the Aubie, he was talking to another Aubie this morning, a tight end who played for Chiz & Gus, and they said nobody on the staff really understood the actual offense except for Gus. That some assistant, who played under him in high school, was about the only one who even sort of had a clue about the Xs and Os to it. So, in other words, that shite is toast, and they also talked about a rumor that one of the reasons he left was because Cheese-whip wouldn't give Gus total reins over the O, even though he had no clue of how it worked. Again, this is from 2 Aubies.

He dropped a course without telling the coaches so he would have been ineligible anyways. But then he tried to hide it.

The Afroman song "Then I Got High" got stuck in my head when I read this. I resisted the urge to make up new lyrics for the current situation.

Interesting. I think Gus is smart. ASU is talented and in a conference that he can dominate and put his stock back through the roof.
