Hell no. I think Bob Sykes is the official home of the white sauce. Archibald's is the best BBQ in Tuscaloosa with a vinegar based sauce.

It's more or less coleslaw dressing... I'm not a mayo fan but I can see the appeal for people that are... specifically seems to be recommended with chicken most often by my friends who swear by it.

i prefer the original Dreamland BBQ out on Jug Factory Rd. in Little Jerusalem (Jerusalem Hgts.) to Archibalds, but not by much. They seem to get a little better quality of meat (more meat and less bone).

Archibalds is (IMHO) the best BBQ in Alabama.
Its a tiny cinder block building in a dudes back yard.
There's only room for three people to sit and eat.
That's not the first fire they've had.
I helped extinguish one there back in 90's
