No you fricking moron. Because Saban loves control. And if you think AD's at places like Texas don't have people over looking the volleyball department and looking after it you are truly ignorant. Jeebus. Get the sand out of your fricking vagina crybaby. I did say I don't think he is going. You keep talking like Lake Burton is some paradise on earth. I'm sure Texas has a lot better lakes, homes on them and places to live. And if you don't think Texas will glad hand with billionaire Texas oil Magnates you need to get your head out of your arse if there's time. But I don't know it might have been stuck in there to long.

Yep, Texas undefeated in big 12 for now...prolly get decent bowl, and reprieve for Mack. He'll get a new coordinator and buy another year.

Mack shite the bed when he retained Diaz after last year's pathetic showing. His replacement is certainly better, but there are probably 2 more losses on the season. Doesn't really matter, nothing is going to stop the inertia. There will be a new AD before the end of the year and I guarantee that he's not signing on with a hold-over "Mack" problem.

Shame Deloss didn't "retire" (cough get forced out cough) two years ago or so..if Billy Boom Boom Powers and company would have nutted up and took control then instead of now, you might have Johnny Manziel and a Top Five Mizzou team in your league this year. Oh well. Does West Virginny come here this year or do the Whorns go out to couch burning capitol of 'Merica? I've lost track.

Well, now there's this.

There is also speculation that Oliver Luck has been in contact with Nick Saban about possibly joining him at UT if he were to be offered the job. As we are told, Saban has not declined the offer, however he has not accepted it either.

Yep. Mrs Saban is going to HC Texas, then meet UA 3 years from now in the NCG.

"I know where you sleep and I prepare your food."
"Aiight, I'll punt on every second down, aiight."
"Well okay then."

Ridiculous thread, why would the guy leave?

He has everything he wants where he is now. Only way he would leave would be out of boredom, and that's not happening. He isn't going anywhere. Bama will match any price if Texas makes an offer.

But I don't think he would leave Bama where he's worshipped, just for another HC job. But maybe he thinks he will never beat the ghost of the bear so he wants out. He's a very egotistical from all accounts and he hates living in that shadow.

Also, what I haven't seen mentioned once in this thread, (though I haven't read all 26 pages) How exhausting must it be to have a fanbase that feels like if they don't win the NC every single year, then that year is a failure? He is already a god at bama. That won't change. How many coaches, in the history of the NCAA, have won a NC at three different schools? I don't think any have. Where would be the easiest place to go, and the easiest conference to go through, to accomplish this goal? IMO it would be Texas and the Big 12 is really the Big 2. Now I have no idea if he would leave bama or not. I'm just saying IF he was looking around, Texas is awfully enticing.

He is going to have Sexton write up an insanely lucrative contract extension for Bama to sign.

Bama will sign it.

Also, those saying Texas wouldn't give Saban the control he wants is ridiculous. If there is one person who they would do that with, it's Saban. He's proven time and again that he wins.
