He's just there to teach Saban the finer points in "collecting info" on opponents.

Much like Saban dealing with free agents, I can't see Belichick dealing with recruiting high school kids.
At best, Saban was mediocre. So while he wasn't a total disappointment, he wasn't some resounding success story either.

Saban taught Belichick a lot of what he knows about coaching football. I wouldn't be surprised if Belichick became Alabama's special team's coach when he finally retires from the NFL.

I mean saban is a hell of a coach, and I imagine that bill belichick doesn’t want to recruit players. But if he were to replace saban, and had sabans players for a few years... he’d own everything. He’s a true tactician.

No but the dude is obsessive when it come to watching film. He’d find 3 star gems all over the place. He’d take a top 15-20 class and beat everybody’s arse with it
