I don't believe the NCAA will ever have much power again. In time the big 5 conferences will break away from it entirely.

This is very likely. No doubt the reporter was a arse for asking the question. But Saban doesn't look very good with reacting that way. He should have just said, I was at LSU at the time and that's not how my program operates and left it at that. Lashing out like that makes one wonder why? Did the reporter hit a sore spot? For someone who is so cool and calculated this is definitely out of character.

What about those Auburn players that said Chizik knew they were getting paid.

They even had a special on it on HBO real sports but that was just 'people out to get Auburn right?'

So when people that didn't end up at the school then we should believe them and if they did play on the team, then ESPN just has it in for Auburn.

Seriously just stop it!

Didn't you guys read the bag man story?

The NCAA can't prove shite against cars and cash.

This goes on everywhere.

Ok, it's pretty clear to me Saban didn't TELL the reporter to "kiss his arse".....To me, it sounded like sarcastic disgust that the reporter would bring up a question that didn't really pertain to him.

Yeah he didn't say it directly to the reporert, it was more like "Good grief" at the stupidity of the question.

You and every other gump on the face of the Earth believed them even though they admitted to having no proof. Why are you shocked other people would believe something similar about bammer?

Pat White is hardly the first person to accuse the gumps of cheating anyway. Erick Locke's own father wrote a letter detailing how the gumps were paying the rent on his house and lease on his car. This letter was eventually published on the sports pages on the Nashville Tennessean newspaper and the NCAA still did nothing about it

We're Auburn we never cheat. We've only been on probation more than any other school in history.

Oh yeah, I believe Pat White because there is plenty of incriminating evidence to back it up. Just click the link and you will see the massive amount of cheating that has gone on under Saban alone. Cars, clothes, cash, fishing trips, and rides on private airplanes. The NCAA has done nothing about any of it

Wasn't the fishing trip hosted by an Auburn fan?

As for the cars and clothes, ain't nothin' wrong with looking fly.

Nor did they do anything about Auburn and their obvious violations with Newton, Robinson, and Reed. (thanks for paying him by the way. Saved us a useless scholarship.)

They turned over every rock and looked in every crevice. The NCAA got the FEDS involved. It was a former Miss. St. player asking money from State for Cam. Nothing more, nothing less.
