So pretty much Miles can leave LSU tomorrow, then when Dylan Moses signs in 2017 to play at LSU and becomes successful in the NFL in 2020, we can make a poster that says Built By Les even though a coaching staff WITHOUT Les Miles did the actual developing of Dylan through the years.

Seems legit

It's only guys he recruited to a school that signed with the school. So guys like Randle don't count.

That is a huge stretch though to count guys he never got a commitment from nor obviously signed in this list, because that's what the list is really about. Guys who actually got on board with him (Except those 4).

Fair enough. I have facts and logic on my side. I will let you people believe that the person that made the picture is without error. I mean, it's not like he mis-spelled any names on there or anything.

I didn't realize Vince Young played at LSU

He didn't, but Nick Saban recruited him to LSU.

Makes about as much sense.

In your opinion, what would be the point of Saban lying about recruiting a few decent players?

Because 111 > 107 and in the end people who this really matters to wont notice.

already hashed out. But Trey Anastasio said Saban deserves credit for getting Byrd to LSU. Never mind the fact that when Saban was at LSU and (allegedly) recruiting Byrd, Byrd ended up signing with FIU. Then spent two years in JUCO (05 and 06) then signed with LSU once Miles was here.

It's because that guys an awesome poster.

Please link me to where I accused anyone of lying about anything?

What I'm pretty sure happened is that some underling in the marketing arm of the Bama athletic department misread a timeline of drafted players and assumed that people drafed from LSU in a certain year were part of one of Saban's signing classes.

I've said all along that I thought it was an honest mistake.

Just because you don't think I could know doesn't mean that I don't actually know.

Based on what? He didn't actually recruit any of the 4 players I named to LSU. I'm not pulling this out of my arse. I'm stating facts.

Well then provide us some links. I'll use Holladay as an example. He didn't amount to much in college. So why does a guy that signs #1 recruiting classes every year, lie about recruiting him?

Interestingly enough look back at the 2005 class...

Miles got a commit from and signed every player from that class that got drafted (3 guys). None of Saban's commits got drafted

Knowing how Saban has total control over everything, I'd bet money he saw and approved that poster before it was ever released to the public.

actually the little write up that went along with that picture of all those jersies, said saban COACHED all those players. It's not just that he recruited them, he COACHED ALL of them.

Now we all know that's just flat WRONG.

Yeah Im sure he went through each and every of those 111 names and remembered everyone single separate one and wrote off on it.

Likely had "better things to do"
