The Tennessee series means so much to me I have to vote to keep it. Avoiding Florida, Georgia and SC has nothing to do with it really! I swear.

Your disingenuous psychologically flawed assertion alone, shows you have been slightly rustled by your belief of his rustling.

The conference comment I am unaware of origin.

It's simply the truth. If you polled the Alabama fan base about whether they would rather play Tennessee or Kentucky ever year, they would all still choose Tennessee. And they would have in the 90's.

Yes it was said by Saban

As the Gator fan said on the first page, Alabama has kicked the fricking shite out of Florida the last 3 times they've played (granted he was more eloquent in his delivery). What does Florida offer that Alabama can't overcome?

Not sure what's so funny. Here's what he said:

Following Saban's above logic, if the loser of the SECCG should play in a better bowl than another SEC team that didn't win their division, then surely that other SEC team could not play for the NC. For example, Bama would not have played in a better bowl than UGA in 2011, which of course would've denied the Mulligan.
After years of this position being falsely attributed to him, Saban all but confirmed it last year.
Care to try to explain away the above quote?
quote:
Saban said Sunday that it isn't fair that the Gators, fifth-ranked in the BCS, likely will play in the Sugar Bowl over the loser of the Southeastern Conference title game. No. 2 Alabama plays No. 3 Georgia for the SEC title Saturday, with the winner advancing to the BCS title game in Miami and the loser probably landing in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando.
"It's not really a great scenario," Saban said. "You play your way into the (SEC) championship game, which means you're the best team in your division. ... It doesn't seem quite right, but it is what it is. I don't really know what me commenting about it is going to do to change it. But I don't feel good about it."
