What brought you tigerdroppings in the first place if you have no preference for any team or are you just not interested in revealing the giant secret that is your favorite team? Just curious

Among my many interests, football is high on the list. Love the game.
.....and I have no favorite team; period. I didn't realize having one was a prerequisite for joining TD. Can you help me find that?...I must have missed it when I signed up.

I'm quite sure they have a few more athletes at LB than this guy. I'm sure he is aware of that also, so let him go get PT somewhere else.

Well good for you. I guess that's the way I feel about my favorite NFL team although I'm slightly partial to the Redskins right now.

Don't watch the NFL much. When I do, I like to see the Mannings do well and the Raiders fall apart. The Cowboys losing it's a bad deal either. It shuts up their obnoxious fans. But, on any Sunday, one team is just about the same as the next and the next and the next.

Personally, the intangibles of college and HS football make both special.

Yes... but our players actually have to earn their grades, not have them handed to them.

You must love your favorite team being led by a couple of championship caliber Tigers.

More or less just like their style of play and I believe Campbell's days as a starter are numbered. Plus Samuels has been a staple on that offensive line for a while now.

Beat me to it.
Besides, let's see how Bama's academics fare after Saban's been there a while.

I definitely won't disagree with that comment. It seems all they talk about is replacing Campbell. I think this season is his last chance to prove something with Washington.

Let him, or force him?

If he signed a scholarship to play football at the University of Alabama, (and he hasn't done anything to damage that agreement), then he should be allowed to stay as long as he wants.

The way I see it, a deal is a deal. I also think this should apply to every school, not just Alabama.

We'll never the know the details as to why Charlie left, but considering the insane depth at LB Alabama has we can guess it was PT.

The point is if they are transferring to a smaller school they more than likely have no chance at the NFL. It would be best for any college athlete to stay at the better academic institution for their long term future. I am sure they are not getting that kind of advice from coaches and counselors at their current school.

As much hate as rival fans like to throw hate Saban's way, I believe he really cares for his players and their success. They are certainly being advised on what path they should take. It would be in Saban's interest to do so.

Now as for Higgenbotham or Preyear going to South Alabama, they are not going to a bad academic institution by any stretch.
