No, since he never reveals anything to reporters (injuries for example)...you have to take everything he tells them with a grain of salt

Say what? You should probably inform the media because they think Saban is far more open than most when it comes to discussing injuries with reporters.

Time already came. It was from 2000-2006. Our dark period. It's over. We're never going back. DWI

You can not reason with Saban haters. The same people who say he only cares about money and all Bama did was throw the checkbook at him to lure him away from Miami.

One problem: Saban's first contract with Bama was for LESS than he was making per year with the Dolphins. Look it up.

Denial is an illness my friend. Soon the shiny new glass on BDS will be as broken as the glass in Tiger Stadium.

"It's a lot more fun when you're sort of building than when you're just trying to keep it that way," Saban said. "It's a lot more fun when you're just starting out. They don't have that expectation, so you're kind of exceeding expectations with every win. It's a lot more fun, but you can't focus on that.

This quote would still concern me as an Alabama fan. This has always been his problem with staying and there are plenty of people in the "real" world that are the same way. Some people enjoy the thrill of building and can't stand the complacency that comes with being stable.

Meh. At the time of those comments in Miami, he wasn't speaking to Bama. He wouldn't even answer phone calls. He did not consider it until after the NFL season when after months of pleading he finally granted a sit-down with Bama's AD.

So at the time he wasn't considering it. He was focused solely on the Dolphins. Yet he was getting asked and hounded every single day for months about the Bama job. Finally, he snapped and made those comments. It was just a mistake and reasonable people understand that.

I know I saw em, I just like to pretend they are still broken. That comes in handy for subtle jab moments like this one.
