re: LSU vs. Troy Predictions

45-17 Tigahs Win
Pick one to start in Week 4 (Starting Dez in the other WR spot).

T.Y. Hilton vs. SEA
Sammy Watkins vs. DAL
J.J. Nelson vs. SF

All 3 have been boom or bust this season..
My bad I forgot you had riddick... well in that case I would also takehim out if Demarco is back healthy (Seattle DEF has been getting gashed with the run)
I'm not one to put more than one egg in one particular basket in FFB unless it's a QB & WR combo... so I think I would take JJ (hottest hand until proven otherwise) and keep Jones in... just me though...

Reasoning: 1. There's only so many touchdowns in a game and 2. Detroit is lighting it up in the red zone...

re: Willie Snead Value

If you're asking about this week then obviously not Snead but when he returns from suspension, I think Snead will give you the better value down the line. It also has a lot to do (for me) with the guys throwing to them. His return Week 4 and Bye Week 5 aren't ideal but if you can make it through that without him... keep him

I'm in the same boat... I have 2 spots open and 3 Rb's that could go there. Not sure who to go with...

1. Shady McCoy (vs DEN)
2. Lamar Miller (vs. NE)
3. Chris Carson (vs. TEN)

Anyone want to try and take a stab at that one???

We've probably shortened the first two tune-up games on purpose, using the run, to prevent injury... we are a little thin at O Line this year...

Also its hard to throw a "lot" of passes when, in the second game, one pass goes for 50+ yards.... I mean there's only so many of those you can throw in a game...

Bama's already hanging the banners.

And in other news: a statue of Mike Slive is set to go right next to Nick Saban's according to bama officials

wouldn't say no to that, stepped up and held his own this year
Just gave it some thought and here would be my candidates for the #18 Jersey for the 2014 Season.

1. Alfred Blue (5th year of eligibility.. possible return)
2. Ego or Freak (if they return)
3. Jemuaria Rasco
4. Terence Magee
5. Kenny Hilliard
6. Ronald Martin

All of these could make a decent case. Any thoughts?

Im not sure why people are rolling their eyes at this game. Iowa finished off the season fairly strong and have a decent defense to combat a freshman at quarterback but I have faith in Jennings and this will bet a great test for him.

their QB went down against Nebraska so don't know his status but could possibly be throwing a backup QB in as well

LINK

i expect a really good game to watch and i'm thinking it'll be pretty tight through the first half and of course we'll pull away by considerable margin in the 3rd/4th qtr

:geauxtigers:
i really don't have a problem with this bowl. I mean we had to get in line behind Auburn, Alabama, Missouri & South Carolina. Lets face it we earned this one. As far as the opponent who's 8-4... if it weren't for a last second pass vs arkansas we'd be 8-4 too... just saying

Im just ready to see what Anthony Jennings has to offer and how our defense is going to shut down that power run game of Iowa!

Mett is a much better NFL prospect

Agreed 100% Mett needs to show more of it though in order to catch more people's attention.

If mett finishes the year strong i think he'll be getting a lot more NFL Draft conversation

Its possible however i think Johnny has pretty much secured his draft stock to this point.. Mett & hill still need to do a little convincing. Hill hasn't put up too high of numbers in the past 2 games against quality opponents.

Manziel Looking ahead to Draft?

Now that the possibilities for a National Championship, SEC Championship and now (after this past weekend) a Second Heisman Trophy are all gone, does anyone see ole Johnny just hit the "Auto Pilot" button against Missouri & the Bowl Game? I think his motives have been made pretty clear: $ $ $ $ $

in the event of a 3 way tie then the best BCS record between the 3 teams is used to break the tie

So if S. Carolina loses to clemson then they will fall in the polls & quite possibly fall lower than a two loss missouri

SEC EAST & WEST CHAMP SCENARIOS

Posted by StayGoldPB on 11/5/13 at 3:32 pm
The Tigers have a slim chance to make it but if the tigers take care of business then here is what its looking like:

I also included the rest of the SEC scenarios

SEC WEST CHAMP:

LSU IF:
1. LSU WINS OUT (Bama, A&M, ARK)
2. Auburn Beats Bama
3. Auburn Loses to Georgia (or Tennessee)
(LSU would win 3 way tiebreak)

ALABAMA IF: WIN OUT

AUBURN IF: WIN OUT

The East Race is a little more complex and could be decided on Nov. 16

SEC EAST CHAMP SCENARIOS:

MISSOURI IF: WIN OUT

S. CAROLINA IF:
1. WIN OUT
2. MISSOURI LOSE 1 GAME (KENTUCKY, OLE MISS, A&M)
3. GEORGIA LOSE 1 GAME (AUBURN, KENTUCKY)
4. IN THE EVENT OF A 3 WAY EAST TIE S. CAROLINA MUST BEAT CLEMSON

GEORGIA IF:
1. WIN OUT
2. MISSOURI LOSE (AT LEAST) 2 GAMES (KENTUCKY, OLE MISS, A&M)
3. S. CAROLINA LOSE TO FLORIDA
(GEORGIA WOULD PROBABLY NOT WIN IN THE EVENT OF 3 WAY TIE WITH 3 TOTAL LOSSES)
