They had the same record as the other option.
They were a few missed FGs from beating LSU the first time.
They proved on the field in January that they were deserving to be there.
On paper, I think OSU had the better resume and got shafted. That doesn't mean Alabama was undeserving. Both teams were qualified to be there. We just happened to get the one that could actually kick our arse. Now grab a douche and wipe the sand out of your vagina.

Beating 7 teams with a winning record is a bit different than beating 3 teams with a winning record.
Winning your conference is a bit different than losing your division.

All impressive, but dead wrong.
LSU got an invitation to that game for one reason and one reason only: the BCS formula.
That happens to be the same reason Alabama received an invitation. If we were an invalid participant, then so was LSU.
By the way, if you can show me where the word "deserve" appears anywhere in the BCSCG formula, referring to criteria for invitation, I will concede immediately.
