How so?

Well for starters since they moved the kickoff to the 30 the team that wins the coin toss has a clear statistical advantage.

Ofcourse that just means Saban would've had to attempt a 71 yard FG in OT

Any type of overtime with a "golden goal" type format is terrible. Add time on the clock and play a mini-quarter or something if you want to change the system. The NFL style overtime is one of the worst overtimes in sports.

I agree that golden goal doesn't make sense in football. The NFL system now is retarded. I am interested to see how the NFL playoff OT system works out. Golden goal, but there has to be a return possession if you score first. It seems better than what they have now at least

That has been changed, now. Each team (in the playoffs) will get one possession at least

That is the way it should be for both leagues.

I don't mind CFB's system and I like it better than the NFL sudden death system, but a modified NFL system seems superior.

Would some Auburn fan please explain why you make fun of Coach Saban's height when your coach is the same height or maybe 1 inch taller? Do Auburn fans really believe that height makes a man?

"I've always said this, so I don't want anybody to think it's sour grapes about overtime," he said, and then he referenced the fact that he coached extensively in the NFL.

"So you'd have to be able to move the ball and be the better team to get it into field position or get a turnover. ..."

Uh, little Nicky, you couldn't even get in field goal position from where you started in OT.

Every potential slight toward bama gets her upset. She is loyal and defensive to a fault.

It looks like Saban is leaning away from Chizik too.

I agree with this. Don't let teams start in FG range. At least make them earn that

25 is out of range for some teams...

Saban is a little bitch. Cant say it any better. He throws little fits, makes excuses and then wants to even change rules when it does not go his way. Take off the Crimson glasses and you can see it as easy as everyone else can.

Saban took a break from his busy schedule of throwing his players and fans under the bus, as well as bitching about the "pimps", to complain about not having NFL-style overtime.

When your team moves backwards it really doesn't matter what the format is.
