So why couldn't Bobby Williams win with Saban's players? He's on staff with you guys now, you should ask him.
I want to know what his dry rub recipe is.

I'm worried about you genro. Usually a good poster but you seem like you are on the verge of coming unhinged. We still have twelve days to do this. Pace yourself, brother. Your boys are going to lose this year. You can book that. But there is no reason we can't have some fun here until then. Have a drink or six, try some decaf or xanax, and settle in buddy. It's all good.

Bama LSU is my favorite game every year since 2007. My favorite game of all time was 2011 GOTC.
Bama LSU is a rivalry. If this keeps up for a few more years, with LSU winning a championship or two, it will be 10 years of slobber knocking matchups with national significance.
It's not the Iron bowl, but the Iron bowl will always be a rivalry whether or not both teams suck.

Frick Nick Saban. Can you believe this arsehole? "A little bit of a rivalry?" What an arrogant prick. LSU gives them the only consistent challenge in the Division. It's the game that is consistently picked as the Primetime matchup of the season. It's statements like this that make be dispise this guy.
What he said must have really hurt your pussy, babe.

The only one who is seriously arguing this is Genro because he doesn't care how wrong he is or how stupid he looks when he gets into troll mode. Good post.
Yeah, a lot of fans are sensible about the rivalry. It's just that weird subset of fans that will go to any length to deny it. On the LSU side, at least here on the Rant, you mostly see it when they're arguing with Arkansas and TAMU and proudly proclaiming that they have no rivals outside of Tulane. I think it must be some sort of Southern independence pride thing for them, the idea that they don't need anybody else to validate them. In that vein, on the Bama side, I'm guessing some fans are worried that acknowledging LSU provides a rivalry is a form of validation for LSU, an admission that the Tigers are, in fact, a respectable opponent nowadays. Don't want the coonasses getting swelled heads, right?
People need to stop worrying so much about perception and just get drunk. That's why football was invented -- to give people a nice rectangular field to get drunk around. Somehow that speaks to the human soul.
Yes, we're a very odd species.

Alls I know, as much as bama fan will deny it, they look forward to this game every year as much as us LSU fans do.

Nick just bitch slapped the hell out of the corn dogs with that. Damn that's gotta hurt!!!
I mean the only thing he could have said funnier than that would have been "it took us living in Miami for 3 months to get that smell out of our clothes"...

Man, does Saban really have to resort to these tactics to try and get his team pumped for this game? He must think he needs them to play at a higher level to beat a team that is better on paper. Been a while for Bama since they didn't have the win wrapped up based on starting rosters.

Of course it's a rivalry. Two teams from the same division playing for the national title is the biggest rivalry there is. Unfortunately, it's just very one-sided right now.
