Georgia was dominating Alabama.

Ok, go on

The players were visibly frustrated as evidenced by shoving heads, going after coaches, face mask tacking

Alright

Humble players don't feel entitled and instead try to motivate each other but that wasn't the case.

Hmmm

quote:

Saban knew he had to take drastic measures or they would lose and with Jalen most likely very badly.

Perhaps.

quote:

He took a chance and put in Tua which proved to be a great decision.

They've had packages for him but circumstances dictated he play more than packages in the second half, and yes, it was a great decision.

quote:

Fortunately for Bama a perfect storm arose in their favor in the second half.

You got that right. Tua was amazing. Their OL blocked well and RBs had some tough runs. But, that defense was lights out in the second half, giving up only 60 yards of offense minus one long play. Limited UGA to 3.0 yards per carry on the game. Can't remember that happening to UGA for even a quarter, all season.

quote:

A combination of terrible officiating

Wait, what?

quote:

Without one of those they lose.

Engaging in hypotheticals, this is getting sketchy.

quote:

I can imagine some of hurt egos on this board at halftime. It must have felt pretty embarrassing to make your 42-10 type predictions only to get whooped...without help I might add.

Now you're lashing out.

quote:

Moral of the story is be humble at all times. You don't have to worry about your pride being hurt from being an arrogant prick.

Is this self-reflection?

quote:

Alabama won

Back on track.

quote:

I get it but when you get so arrogant that you begin to feel entitled to a blowout you have a problem.

Very confused. Is this directed at all the UGA fans and their predictions and chest thumping?

quote:

Humble fans and humble players get more respect from others.

Where is this going?

quote:

Congrats on your win.

I'm sensing a trap.

quote:

Maybe the fashion the natty was won in was a wake up call that sometimes even most prideful need a little "assistance".

And there it is, the passive-aggressive insult.

Fortunately for Bama a perfect storm arose in their favor in the second half. A combination of terrible officiating, conservative play calling from UGA, and Tua was just what they needed to make a come back. It took all 3 things to create a scenario for Bama to win. Without one of those they lose.

Sounds just like what happened in the Rose Bowl now doesn't it?

So to paraphrase; Kirby blew it and Alabama's backups are better than Georgia's starters?

So, Bama should be playing more for your respect than trying to win National Championships?

Please try to help me understand. The last thing Bama wants is for people to not respect us.

Very good analysis. I will be reading this again and again throughout the day. We people from Alabama are not that smart.

Holy sh1t how long dod that take you.

The beter team won heres why:

1.8>5 any decent coach with a good front couldve done the same.

2.we definitely got the better end of the officiating...one team has to.Bama was on the bad end of a couple as well.

3.Your offense scored 13pts on a tired defense 50 play 1st half

4.Top to bottom your team was inferior besides Rb and for the first half qb.

5.Qb change was huge and was the biggest factor in reasons above.

Now the good news: if Ga continues this trajectory in 2 or 3 yrs you will be the better team. The future is bright in Ga.See you in Atl next year.

If UGA had Colt McCoy, this wouldn't even be a conversation.
