Saban was asked at media days about coaching at 77 like Bill Snyder.
"I can't guarantee I'll be alive at 77. But I want to do the best I can for as long as I can."
SEC still fricked..
Saban is 65 FYI.

Wrong board, Ra'd.

He'll be board out of his mind soon. I give him 3 years max before he either retires or gives the NFL another go.

Some say it's better to get that out of your system than keeping it in.

Of course you do. If fact, I bet you've said that for a decade.

Congrats to Alabama and your self esteem

Nope, but good try, girly.
Seriously, you bitches get so bent out of shape at even the thought that he will one day not coach at Bama. Grow a pair already.

Yep. Some people say the cucumbers taste better pickled.
I don't think the guy wants to stop. I used to think he wanted to pass Bryant and then be done, but now I think he has mellowed so much in recent years (compared to himself, not compared to people like Synder) that he just enjoys the day to day grind. He got his kids set up with the Mercedes dealership in Bham and soon Nashville, so that concern is off the plate. I think he easily goes another 5-6 years (then Dabo comes over as his youngest graduates then).

Yes, he said it even before Saban went to Alabama

Gus may not explode like Saban does, but he looks a lot more stressed on the sideline for the majority of the games with all the gum chewing and freaking out about HUNH

Only if you tell us what kind of "board" Saban is going back to the NFL on. Oak or pine?
