quote:And a lot of Bama fans would agree. The offset being Hurts' legs. However, late season tendencies have not been kind to his running threat. It's obvious that our staff has tried to force Hurts to run less and try to make progressions. It's just not his game. I'd actually like to see him pull the ball and run in this game rather than try to string a play out to the sideline. Keep the yardage positive at any costs and play field position.
But I also think that Georgia's offense might have more potential to make big plays in the passing game.

It's going to be an interesting game.

Same old, same old for Bama. I honestly don't see either coach getting "cute" until the game takes on a personality. If one team starts to show the least bit of domination, all bets are off...including changing QBs.

Saban has forgotten more about football than any and all of us will ever know. Call me crazy but I think he has a couple of tricks up his sleeve..

I predict Ronnie Harrison is going to come into this game with some very bad intentions. I just hope he doesn't get a targeting call.

UGA will try to go 50/50 on first down with run/pass. It isn't an aerial assault. But it will intend to not let Bama guess run and keep UGA behind the chains all game like the DSOR.
UGA has been very successful in getting 1st downs and scoring when we pass on 1st down. So much so that this type of balance has been an offensive weapon late in the season.
The key will be to not make those gamechanging mistakes. No DBs jumping underneath routes. No sack fumbles (Fromm has missed about 1 blitz per game and gotten sacked as a result through no fault of the OL). Not consistently getting false starts and hold calls because of the Bama DL.
If we don't have the mistakes, then Bama fans will be surprised what our offense can do against their defense. But I will be surprised if we don't have any mistakes. Their defense is that good. We will just have to force Bama into their own mistakes and overcome them.
