Just said this on Hey, Coach.

I agree with all of the above. 120 teams is just too many. He also said he wants teams in Division I to play teams ONLY found in Division I.

Don't like the 9 game idea

60-70 team D1 is good though

With a 9-game schedule, they could make LSU play Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina all in the same season!!!!!

Saban approves.

I agree with both but not one without the other. That way other conferences not as deep as SEC would have to play tougher teams out of conference to offset fact that their conference is weaker/not as deep.

What's the point in only 60-70 D1 teams?

Disagree with the first part of 9 good games and 3 patsies.

Agree with the 2nd part about less D1 schools.

Have the regular season be nothing but conference games, expand playoffs and then play your OOC games.

Would it be possible to schedule 3 patsies with only ~45 potential OOC opponents? I mean, I guess you could schedule Indiana, Boston College, and Kansas, but that would at least be better than Georgia State, Western Carolina, Towson, Alcorn State, etc.

Why? Competition is good. Bring on Bama playing Florida, Tennessee and Georgia every year.

I want it, all of it.

We have 14 teams, with the current 8 game set up it'll be years before we play some teams.

Well he can start leading by example then. No more tomato can high school teams in BDS.
