Interesting. We've been informed for years by the brilliant Alabama fans on this forum that LSU is just like UT-Chattanooga or New Mexico State to the mighty Tide, the "men in Crimson." Only games they get up for are Auburn and that "historic" '3rd Saturday in October' vs Tennessee.

Why would Saban risk a player's health vs LSU?

I am a fan and think he should and will play.

However, if I was his father, I’d advise sitting out until almost 100%. Multimillionaire or cripple would be my thoughts.

Since Alabama players are compensated like professional athletes, it makes sense.

Good excuse but they know what's about to take place inside of Davis Wade Stadium. State is going to put the nail in the coffin to the Alabama program.

JoMo isn't playing 8 players so they will be 100% ready for the Egg Bowl

Can confirm that Tua is not playing.

They have nothing left to play for so why should he risk his career?

Neither do 90% of his teammates but at least he makes up for it on the other side of the ball
