I'm hearing he's the next Eric Ainge and will bring just as many championships.

That’s awesome considering Mahomes wasn’t all that in college.

How many Heisman's did UT QB's win? Gators had, what, 3? 4 ? How many NC's did UT win? Florida? SEC championships? Best thing Manning did was playing drum major. Working on what, your 5th alter?

Wonder if the next Pat Mahomes will be able to beat LSU? The first one could not.

UT has no problems with LSWho.

We could beat you with me playing QB.

Patrick Mahomes as a college player led his team to seasons of 4-8, 7-6 and 5-7.

So congrats I guess?

The level of fear on this board about Tennessee football is great. I love to see the rest of the SEC scared of the big orange again.

If you can't tell that that was not the usual Tennessee team out there against SC last year then you don't know football. Our defense was mentally gutted and Banks had to sit out so they just weren't there mentally that game.

SC fans acting like they are on Tennessee 's level is cute.

I promise you we will run up the score BIG time against your pathetic little coaching graveyard school.

SC is a place that over the hill coaches go to to lose to the best opposition in the country somewhat gracefully.

Every once in a while a newer one like Beamer pops up though. He's doing a good job there but they are not on Heupel's level. You just caught us at the perfect time on the road.

You are coming to Neyland this year and it's going to get UGLY for you guys fast.

"Those two scrubs would have already hit the portal if they were in Knoxville."
Yeah, they probably would have, probably for the same reason Nico will too, once he realizes what a mistake he made signing with a championship-wannabe team.

And uh, you would call a player who broke all of Trevor Lawrence and Deshaun Watson's highschool records in the state of Georgia a scrub? And Raiola is the #1 ranked player in the country at any position. YOU, my friend, are the one who is ignorant.

The real issue is, however, that Nico is probably going to be a good QB. However, unlike UGA, he is not surrounded by 5 star talent like our QB will be. That's why its going to be another L when UGA shows up for our annual pimp-slapping of the little Orange.

I have no doubt Nico will be a good player, but Mahomes is at least the best combination of talent and skill we've ever seen at the QB position IMO.

Nico will have PLENTY of talent to work with. Our WRs are as good as anyone in the country and we are recruiting well as far as the big uglies go.

I'm pretty sure Nico or any other QB would rather play in Heupel's offense than at UGA under Kirby and has been washed out Bobo.

Look what he did with Hendon Hooker ffs.

And when Milton wins the Heisman this year, you can bet all the 5 star talent at the QB position will begging to play at Tennessee.

Recruits love Tennessee under Heupel. Every recruit that visits says it feels like home and a good family environment in Knoxville under Heupel.

This post reminds me of that Eddie Murphy stand-up skit where he makes fun of guys who, immediately after getting their butt kicked in a fight, jump up and start trying to talk trash and make excuses and bragging about how they are going to get even and beat the guy's butt who just kicked the crap out of them. The whole thing was just laughing at how pathetic and hilariously funny that is.

Just give it up man... SC mopped the floor with the Volunqueers and with a bloodbath like that was, trying to make it sound like it was anything other than what the whole nation witnessed with our own eyes just makes you look silly.

UGA and SC are both coming to Neyland this year and I'm predicting multiple touch down wins for Tennessee in both games.

Heupel is basically the next 90s Gators version of Spurrier.

I hope he runs up the scores purposely on every team we play this year to make a statement.

I think Harrison Bailey did also, and we all seen how he turned out.

Harrison Bailey was the biggest bust I've ever seen in my life.

I watched him closely in highschool and knew he would be a flop. He doesn't have that "it" factor that you look for in talented QBs.
