Wrong. It very nearly went wide right.

Yeah, because the SEC is always looking out for Auburn

Whistle blew before a recovery. It’s a tough break.

Replay officials could not do a thing. In defense of the onfield officials, I have never seen that happen in a football games before. It takes a special talent like Bo Nix is to botch a spike. But it swung the game and they missed the call. I could seen the onfield officials getting suspended.

The ball hitting the refs leg is moot since he is part of the field.

Yep. It is what it is. I've seen a lot worse...in games that matter too. Saints a few years ago being a great example.

Wrong. There is no rumor and it isn't going to happen. Pretty rare circumstances that resulted in a blown call. I have been watching football my enter life like just about everyone else and I don't remember seeing a backwards spike.

Ref that blew the whistle was behind the QB so he couldn't tell. Premature whistle but it probably happens 9999 times out of 10,000. No way that ref could tell it was slightly behind.

Yes, Hogs got screwed but no one cheated. How about make a first down and Auburn doesn't get the ball back at the end anyway???

I'm tired of hearing that sort of shite. You can say they "should have done" whatever, but what you're not saying is that the refs should have got it right. It happens 9,999 times out of 10,000? Sounds like a major fricking problem to me. And maybe that ref should let the line judge make the call if he can't see it properly?

Why do you just give a pass to the refs? The replay booth had a chance to correct it and they didn't either.

Screw that. They need to get their shite together.

You’re crazy. Ark anticipated a botched snap and backwards spike. It was their plan all along. They “earned” the victory.

Congrats on your win

Well maybe you turned away from the TV set too soon because Arkansas clearly did recover the fumble.

I don't think anyone is actually under any illusions that the league is going to overturn it. We know that isn't going to happen. It should though.

If there would be a time to do it this would be the year.

Can you imagine the change in football if they did?

How is it a recovery after the whistle blows? That is called " picking the ball up to hand it to the ref". Once the whistle blows, the play is over. Period.

Whatever happed after that didnt happen. It was a absolute blown call but once he whistle blew, people stopped playing
