In your mind these are regional games?
4 games in 40 years that required a plane ride. So yeah, y’all tend to avoid anything outside the region. Even scheduled future games are subject to bait and switch (as in this thread and BSU) with UGA getting the home game and the road game moving to Atlanta as a “neutral site”.

Hell... we fly to Jacksonville! Lol

This Tennessee guy is really dumb isn’t he. He must think our players ride on Greyhound.

You did see that the games i listed were for the last 15 years, right?
So you refuse to answer my question? Not surprising at all.
And yet I have sowed and proven that we regularly play a tougher road OOC schedule than Tennessee. I guess we could get on an airplane and play Kansas, Wyoming and other really bad teams. We just prefer to play teams that stretch us like Clemson.

In fairness, that is the way Tennessee travels to most of their games.

The idea that getting on an airplane somehow makes playing Kansas a tougher game than playing Clemson is mind boggling. But, then again we are dealing with Tennessee fans.

This is why so many of them are heated about eliminating divisions and going to 3-6. They won’t get that cake walk of an East schedule every year.

For OOC games. Or do y’all fly to Atlanta and Clemson? As cheap as UGA is y’all probably ride in Athens-Clark County school buses.

In the last 40 plus years UGA has played 4 away OOC games outside of Atlanta and Clemson. 4 true road games. That’s the point. I’m sorry this concept is so hard to grasp and accept.

Yeah. Because Clemson, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Ohio State are so much worse than Ole Miss, Miss St, Arkansas, A&M, and Auburn.
People bitch about the conference handling the scheduling. And then they want to hand over more scheduling to the conference. No thanks. Our ADs arent morons.

So this is where the goalpost is landing?
Lol
Too cute.
Why dont you schedule harder before you criticize the teams doing it better.
You can start by never forgetting to play a P5 ooc opponent. Then try to match it with a second one. These are things your AD could do all along. All you have to do is ask. Or demand. Or fire him and hire one who will.

Yeah. WE might lose Auburn as a permanent opponent. We'd hate that.

Your out of conference P5 team to start the season that is played by everyone else, isn’t what’s in question. Don’t act like your percentage to winning-out drops from 80% to 30% (or lower) whenever Alabama or LSU starts getting thrown on your schedule every year.

Yes, the 5-7 Auburn Tigers are really what’s boosting your SOS

Typically we fly to Colorado, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas....you know....the places we have showed you we have scheduled? I mean, I have shown you several times that our OOC road games have been tougher than Tennessee's. We have played 3 teams that ended ranked while UT has played one. You seem to no be able to understand the simplest of concepts.

Not what I meant. Obviously Auburn has not boosted anybody's SOS. We would hate to lose that close series we have going on with Auburn.

You guys used to have pride in playing a tough schedule. Not so much now, huh?
We literally just won the National Championship and played one of the teams you mentioned, and I feel pretty sure we would have beaten both last season, so......

I was thinking the same thing....but not to Smokeyone. We can't live up to Tennessee's high standards.

Remind us again how many Tennessee has played and how many ended up ranked? Should be pretty easy to do.
You keep saying the last 40 years. Prove it. Prove we have not played more the 4. I'll bet I can prove we have played more.
Maybe if Tennessee tried playing Clemson you would be considered a National Power?

I'll ask again....does playing Wyoming, Kansas and Hawaii make for a better schedule since you get on an airplane than playing Clemson, Oklahoma State or Oregon in Atlanta?
You just going to skip over this part?

Y’all schedule Clemson and Tech and “neutral site” Atlanta games. My point was that those are essentially home games, and that in 40 years y’all have been on a plane to play a true road games a whole 4 times. You want to be a national power with regional only games.
Last years neutral site game was in Charlotte against Clemson, not in Atlanta. You need to check your facts first before posting. In the upcoming years two will be played at Clemson, two in Athens, one in Atlanta, and the one last year in Charlotte. They did it this way to keep it even.
