Lose to Vols for the 37th time in the last 40 years in football
Lose to Duke for the 9th time out of the last 11 games
Get swept by the men’s and women’s SwimVols
At least Kentucky is good (at losing)

I was never really mad at Pitino for leaving for the Celtics or taking the UL job (well, maybe just a little, but UL is a top 5 job so hard to fault him).
What he did those first 2 years at UK was nothing short of amazing. I was working at the University during that time and spent a decent amount of time at Memorial, and while the practices were closed, I got to watch some of it, and he was the most intense coach I think I ever saw.
What he did to transform Farmer, Feldhaus, and Pelphrey was beyond amazing. Truly the best coach of his time.
