New Orleans get the SEC Champ in the Sugar Bowl.
Orlando and Dallas are too far away a week after the season is over.
Keep it in Atlanta.
It's looking like a Dallas, Pittsburgh, Bermuda rotation at this point.

Anyone nominated the Bicardi Bowl yet?

I totally agree, but I love RATM, and when they were really popular, I was not old enough to go to their concerts (plus I dont think they ever came to Birmingham)...and they broke up when I was freshman in hs. Seeing them in concert was a dream come true for me.
Anyhoo

I'm thinking the LSU tailgates in Bermuda would be legendary.

Well that is true the Liberty Bowl sucks..Plus memphis is really an ideal town for a football championship..

We can't have Ole Miss losing to Cuba again.

The OC poster is either a kid or an idiot. Atlanta should stay as the permanent city for the SECCG. The ACC would love for the SEC to leave Atlanta, plus look at the crime rates in the major cities, and look where New Orleans falls.

Both of your crystal balls were won in the superdome. Don't think you had home field advantage vs. Okla/Ohio St?
The big difference is that they rotate the BCS national championship games. LSU has just been really fortunate that both of their national championship game victories were played in New Orleans.

Atlanta is a shithole...move it to Miami.
this would also keep all the poor SEC fans from attending.

I disagree just because Orlando is so far away from most of the west teams. As a poor college student, it would be difficult to make an Orlando trip then another bowl trip. Atlanta is easier to drive to

What? Are you a friggin' idiot? Atlanta was rated as the second-most dangerous city in the United States. LINK
If you like Atlanta just say you like Atlanta, but don't break out the argument of Atlanta is a safe city, because it most certainly is not.
What's wrong with rotating the site? The BCS Championship is rotated, so why not the SEC Championship?

Moving the Sugar Bowl out of New Orleans would be almost equivalent to taking the Rose Bowl out of Pasadena. If you value college football tradition, you can't do it.
With that in mind, you can't give N.O. the SECCG, because nobody would want to go twice in five weeks.
Atlanta has huge amounts of alums from every SEC school, and it's one of the two or three traditional big hubs of the South. I made the drive from Baton Rouge to go to the UNC game in September. Left at 9am central, got there at like 5pm eastern - really not that bad.
And for everyone saying they're burned out on going ... Bama has made two trips to the SECCG in 10 years, Auburn has made three in 10, LSU and Florida have gone four times in 10 years.
So at best you're looking at going once every other season. Is that really enough to get burned out?

I'm not saying GIVE New Orleans the SECCG, I don't want to GIVE it to anyone.
What I'm saying is I want to see it rotate between four cities, just as the BCS Championship Game does.

Even though this would happen only once every four years (because it rotates), I think if your team wins the SECCG, you would go back to the same place you were at five weeks ago with a smile on your face, because...YOUR TEAM JUST WON THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP!
