re: Expansion Round 2

I think the bigger problem would be Virginia (or legislature) wanting Virginia Tech to stay in the ACC.

The backup plan could be Louisville or maybe Missouri to the north.

Missouri in the North could open a spot to a Oklahoma or another Texas team to the West.

North - Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech
South - Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State
East - Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina
West - Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, A&M
No please.

How about that fantasy whatever board. That would be a good place.

Good link.

Vandy is not going to be kicked out. They are a charter member and can compete in other sports.

I don't like a 13 team conference. Go ahead and go to 14, seven in the east and seven in the west.

Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss St, LSU, Arkansas and A&M in the west

Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vandy, Kentucky plus one in the east.

If TV markets are that important then go to 16, eight per side. Oklahoma brings in a good team but Missouri brings in over 2m TV market in St. Louis and Kansas City.

In the east Virginia Tech bring in 1.5m with Norfolk, Richmond and Roanoke. A North Carolina school would bring in 3m with Ralaigh, Charlotte and Greenville.

The state of Texas brings in 6m with Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
Anyone nominated the Bicardi Bowl yet?
New Orleans get the SEC Champ in the Sugar Bowl.

Orlando and Dallas are too far away a week after the season is over.

Keep it in Atlanta.

I was there. Great game!

LSU-Georgetown in the Dome

Georgetown was #2. #1 Illinios had already lost that week.

The most bewildering thing is that the comments that he copies and pastes from other websites aren't really insightful or necessarily even well written themselves.

And then he goes all weirdo when he's caught.
