That describes a lot of Qbs. Again, has a different arm slot. Rohan came over the top a LOT more. Again, a different body type. Rohan is 4 inches shorter and the same weight. Again, different athleticism. Rohan could run some, but was a stiffer runner. Rohan was a drop back passer who actually did have a pretty long wind up.

The better comparison to an LSU Qb is J Russell.

ETA: Rohan’s motion wasn’t very slow. Was off on that statement

We disagree. I think more like Rohan. His size is similar to JR.

Let’s agree to this... LSU finally has multiple Qbs on the roster who can lead this offense to points. It’s a great thing

That I agree on, this QB controversy is nonsense. For the first time since Flynn and Ryan P were together in 2007, LSU has 2 excellent QB's that can play. That is a good thing.

The only game I ever watched him play was a bowl game against Georgia Tech. He was all world right?

Ro was a very, very good college quarterback

JR was fairly mobile at LSU believe it or not, he had a couple hundred rushing yards in 2006 I believe

I remember Rohan's first start. I think it was against Auburn. He looked terrified and played like it. LSU got crushed. But he put the experience behind him and turned into an all time gamer in the sec. He was a gunslinger!

I try to remind folks of that when they dismiss uga's young qb Dwan Mathis. He was rattled badly in his first start but it shouldn’t mean the end for him.

Honestly it’s a good comparison. Except TJ looked ready in his very first start.

Let's hope he can replicate Rohan Davey's single game passing yard record against Alabama. I witnessed that awesome game in 2001 when Rohan threw for 528 yards against the gumps. It could have been more if it weren't for the 2 penalties that wiped out 2 more touchdowns to Josh Reed, who set the LSU receiving record of 293 yards in that game.
