You are so right, Carl... WHO WOULDN'T want to play for a team best known for running into Stanford's band? Gives me chills just thinking about it.

I was referring to Berkeley being a top flight academic institution in one of the great cities of the world, San Francisco.

Well considering most people think Lattimore is a SC lean and Lemonier is a FSU lean if you guys only got say Jones we could maybe pass over you with Arie K. and somebody else, Stone, C. Smith (longshot)

Obviously turning Coleman would make a big difference although I think he probably stays with Auburn.

I don't know the points situation but you do have a reasonable chance of losing out on at least two of those final big three.

Still would be a great class though.

It comes down to where Shon Coleman goes, as to who finishes 3rd in the country. Of course, that's dependent on what Oklahoma does as well.

Next year's class is going to be amazing, but just won't have the numbers to challenge LSU for the top spot.

Being in the top spot does not make a hill of beans. We need another loaded class, whether is 1,2 3,4 or 5. I also don't care if Auburn finishes a spot ahead of us this year. I am in more than confident in our coaching staf to get it done with the talent we have on hand and are bringing in. What you are seeing are the effects of finally having a loaded depth chart.

It doesn't, but I assure you rival fans will make a big deal out it, as they are right now, and Alabama will finish with a top five class. Next year's class will have the highest star average we've had to date, and will be a top five class, again.

Which is exactly why I am still very happy with the class. We have a good bit of depth and should end up with a top 4 class with a chance at a top 3(though not likely). No matter what this is a fantastic class and nothing to be unhappy about.

People that follow recruiting know that a #1 class is not the definition of success. Yea, some make a big deal out of it (t-shirts anyone?) but the real deal is to be able to bring in top 10 classes on a consistent basis along with recruiting specifically to your needs.

I have the luxury of living in Jackson, MS (if that makes sense ) where there a hardly any Aubs. I won't hear it from any except online.

I also heard that the lineman from Cullman is going to commit the first day he is allowed to. I don't know if that has been posted on this board or not.
