How do we know the defense is "much improved" yet. I would agree on the offense, because Petrino is the shite. I wouldn't say a team is "much improved" until they show it on the field.

I just feel like the media should be more educated about their picks. They seem to be rather clueless. Ultimately, none of these lists mean shite though.

If either Lacy or Richardson goes down, thier RB depth is atrocious, which is pathetic for a school of that caliber.

Says the Bama fan whose whole team is on the first or second all sec. The love fest for Bama is unbelievable. If this was the case no one could hang with Bama for a quarter.

Okay, I will grant you the 'wait and see', but from all indications the defense is ahead of where it was at this time last year. Improved depth in DL, most of the starters back, addition of some help at LB (Highsmith is going to suprise some folks)... all things are pointing to an improved defense. But, we will let the pudding be your proof.

I don't make the lists. I take them with a grain of salt. None of this matters when football starts, you guys are getting worked up that Bama is predicted to do great things.

I would say Brantley could have been considered the offensive player on the spot.

It's his last year. His much anticipated coming out party was a complete failure and if he doesn't produce soon, he could be ridin the pine with a quickness.

With a straight face, can you name a more dangerous offense in the SEC right now?

Obviously, you do not think that is Arkansas at this time.

What do you want mentioned about our secondary?

Winston, Madison, Thomas, Bennett, Ford all started games last year and are all back.
