No doubt. I'm not arguing that they didn't do a good job. I'm saying he asked when you guys didn't have an elite O so we told him.

certainly there's good reason to think the 2012 offense will be a lot better than 2008, and 2008 was pretty good.

better yes but not as good as '09 and '10.

You and most of your fellow Arky fans never show any concern about the O and I think it's ridiculous.

Why should we be concerned about offensive production? Petrino has always put a very quality offense on the field no matter where he has been.

You point to the offensive line, yet we return the nucleus of a damned good one last year.

No, you said that South Carolina and Alabama would be a more dangerous offense than Arkansas. Not only did an Arkansas fan laugh at your notion, so did an LSU fan.

You just happen to get ubber defensive when an Arky fan calls you out.

eh. i think we'll do about as well as '09, likely a little better (ended 20th). Last season arkansas was #9 nationally in total offense, so there isn't a ton of room to move up.

I said Bama would be. I said USCE could be.

The LSU fan thought I meant through the air only.

that would describe you this entire thread.

we've already proven that wasn't true. Stop with the broken record.

you return 2/5. Neither at OT and neither was your best o.linemen from last year.

I never said that.

I hate Arkansas, but you cannot deny their offense is probably the most dangerous (meaning most capable of the big play through any facet from anywhere on the field) in the SEC.

There is no way Bama's is more dangerous.

No you have not. Again, Petrino's first year Arkansas finished 4th in total offense. That is not quality? Are you insane?

We return 2 All Americans, 1 Fr All Sec and pre season All Sec, a veteran at tackle, and we will have one spot with no experience. Smells like a lot of trouble, right?

Agree. Knile Davis can run for 70, or we can throw for 70. Pick your poison.

LOL

Arkansas returns the leading RB in the SEC and gets back a healthy Dennis Johnson.

Arkansas' offense will depend HEAVILY on how the new OL performs. 3 new starters, 2 at OT, is a huge thing to replace and expect not much of a drop off. Especially considering the top OT replacement got kicked off the team and a lightly recruited JUCO kid looks to be the starter at one OT spot. Wilson and Davis could be good and the Receivers great but if there's mediocre blocking up front the offense won't be nearly as good as it could be.

P.S. one of my Arky friends said Grant Cook got hurt yesterday at practice possibly? That would suck if true.

He has a point, you finished 9th in the SEC last year in rushing. No secret Petrino is pass happy. And you have a mostly new OL this year...

we're going in circles. You can pick 1 stat all you want.

what All Americans? I only know of one and that was the freshman AA.

True there is only 1 spot with no experience at all but:

2/5 of the new starters have started fewer than 5 games.

Nothing bad, just rolled an ankle.

3 new starters,

4 of our linemen this year have starting experience. I think combined we have just under 50 career starts.
