So now #4(top 3rd) in the conference is not elite? Not good? Not dangerous?

You're only looking at yards. I can't consider an offense elite if they don't put points on the board.

22 points a game is elite bro. Petrino would have it no other way

why is everybody focusing on 2008 to determine whether or not the Arkansas offense will be really good in 2011-12?

Again, we were talking about the offensive rankings/production since Petrino arrived here.

4th in the league, with Casey Dick at QB is the lowest his offense has ever finished in the SEC.

But it is not a dangerous offense this year, remember?

we aren't. He said Arky's offense has always been elite since Petrino came in. We are proving him wrong.

No you're not. The lowest conference ranking his offense has been was his first year, which I said earlier in the thread. It was still towards the top of the conference that season.

4th in yards yes but lower in every other major category.

In yards which doesn't matter if you don't put points on the board.

Total offense, that is what this argument is about. Has been since you decided to say Arkansas did not have a dangerous offense for 2011 on page 2 of this thread.

This is about the 5th time you have changed mid argument.

I am still waiting on where someone said Wilson will have better numbers than Mallett....or that you stating a Razorback fan said that our offense would have better numbers this year.

Do you change/make up shite just for the sake of doing it?

oh. ok. yeah, i guess i can see an argument that they weren't "elite" (didn't finish top 10 or 15 in the nation or anything) his first year here, but it did extremely well considering what arkansas lost (Hillis, McFadden, DMac, Monk) and what arkansas had returning (RB with little experience, OL that only knew how to run block, Casey Dick, WRs who never had to catch in a game).

that speaks a lot to how petrino can get an offense to produce. certainly there's good reason to think the 2012 offense will be a lot better than 2008, and 2008 was pretty good.

You will have to forgive the Arkansas fans. They just don't realize how much their inferiority complex shows when someone doesn't agree that Arkansas is the best at everything. And don't dare question their sleezebag coach that they worship. That's when the Hog fan inferiority complex goes defcon 5.

One day they will realize that no one really gives a pig's shite about Arkansas and it's 2nd tier program.

LOL at some of you 'denial' folks...

Like Mr. T always said, "I pity the fool..."

All of you who don't believe Arkansas is going to have a very good, and yes, DANGEROUS, offense are just silly.

The defense was much improved last year from the previous year. Most are back, with another years experience under their belt. Plus there are a few newcomers, very talented ones, that will improve the depth and in some cases probably win a starting spot, such as Alonzo Highsmith and Robert Thomas.

But, carry on with your wishful thinking and denial that the Hogs are going to be good. Very good.

Fear the Hog. And carry on.

I haven't changed my argument at all. I've just built upon it.

again I said based on what you guys say that's what people would think.

You and most of your fellow Arky fans never show any concern about the O and I think it's ridiculous.
