Howard Johnson hotel in Tuscaloosa?

Posted by Sanford Lyle on 10/10/11 at 5:35 pm
Anyone ever stayed at HoJo in Tuscaloosa on Skyland Avenue? I have a reservation there and was wondering if this is a decent place to stay for the LSU game. Anyone gave experience and opinion?
He just came off field after getting hand hit on helmet and you could read his lips saying "I think it's broken". Looks like it may be Simms next week. Lucky break for us if so.

So JJ should just role over and give up.He shouldnt even dress out at practice, he should just go to practice in hes pjs and take a nap on the sidelines.Because obviousley trying to get more playing time makes him a selfish punk
Of course not. He should choose his words more carefully so as not to come across as selfish and "me" oriented.

Here's what Lee said last year after the UT game:
"It's all about whenever your number is called, making the most of it no matter who's the starter." This is the correct thing to say in this situation.

thats not something you come out and say in the middle of a national championship season you say exactly what it says in the PC handbook, "i'll do what it takes to help the team win." period. another stupid quote by jefferson
Exactly!
Anyone else have a problem with this JJ quote tonight? Miles has stated numerous times that Lee is the starter. Why would JJ come out and say he wants to be the starter to the media? Obviously any QB wants to be the starter but you don't say it to the media in this situation. Last year after Lee bailed JJ out and won the UT and Florida games Lee NEVER said he wanted to be the starter or anything about him starting. He said PC stuff like " I just want to help the team win" etc. Shouldn't JJ have just said something like that?

I wouldn't trade any of ours for any of theirs!

Trivia question

When is the last time an LSU back fumbled the ball
that would be Jakori Gore against Northwestern State. THIS YEAR. What's your point?

Points will be hard to come by Nov. 5th.
Thus, we can't afford any wasted series with Jefferson under center. We have to make every offensive series count.
It only took Lee 11 quarters to throw as many TDs (4) as JJ threw in the entire regular season (12 games). It's truly mind boggling just how terrible JJ was last season.
Watching the WV game replay and noticed JJ whining and throwing teammate under the bus after they committed a penalty. Who can't wait to see more of his selfish behavior this year? Funny, I don't recall Lee ever acting like this. I also never saw JJ's teammates throw a hissy fit like this when he threw one of his many INTs. Here is the video:
Classy
We opened against ULM, Arizona and W. Illinois in 2003. Not sure where you got N. Illinois and Western Kentucky from. Do I need to go check your stats too?

Um...explain yourself
what's to explain. We played like shite against VT in 2002 and lost the opener. I expect the same result against Oregon. We have too many distractions going into the game, we are missing 3 key offensive starters, and I expect an ultra conservative offensive gameplan. I'm pretty sure we are losing this football game. Hope I'm wrong.
More like LSU v. Virginia Tech in 2002. Things are not looking good going into this game.
I still haven't received an email from LSU telling me season tickets have been mailed out. Am I the only one? I'm hearing people have already received their tickets and I haven't even gotten email notification regarding shipping yet.
Lee and/or Mettenberger need to get prepared as if they are going to start. You have to give them much more reps than they usually get in practice. You have to reduce JJ's reps.

Crouch (25 total TDs)

a guy that CLEARLY won the Heisman with his legs
Looks like the guy accounted for Crouch's rushing TDs in the total TDs number. So apparently Mauck threw for more touchdowns than a recent heisman winner ran and threw for combined. If you are not impressed with Mauck's 28 touchdown passes, especially when compared to Heisman winners, then you must have very high standard for what constitutes a crazy touchdown number.

How did you get these pics? You have contacts in ticket office?
Those that got the email, did you sign up for the new parking pass waiting list or is this a random email from LSU?
How do you not know the difference between worse and worst?

Started thinking about it and gameday has been at LSU's opener almost every year since Les got here..
uhhhh, last season and this season are the only season openers gameday has been at. 2 out of 7 is hardly every year.
